What can be more unreasonable than having a hell load of tests coming right at you..The answer is having a shit load of writing assignments to hand in within a really short period of time!Welcome to College Michael...if it is that easy everyone will have qualified for it in the first place.Time for me to put toothpicks in between my eye lids to keep awake andstudy and do my work at the same time.I wonder who came up with that idea before mr bean.Seriously, its as creative as how it works, and it works wonders too.
Ok digressing from the wonders of toothpicks other than keeping you awake and getting food out of your already crammed mouth.I came accross the topic about fairness in lit class and in tickle me elmo courtesy of Jason. As quoted " IF life is fair, why do roses have thorns?". Well first of all you have to question yourself,if life really fair to you?Do you suffer as much as others do? The answer is most probably a no the first while a yes to the latter. Now we have to think why is life unfair to some of us.Maybe born in a poor family or have defects which you think might really affect your life. But seriously, everyone is born equal.Even God himself gave a part of his flesh to make Adam and Eve, what makes you think that he didnt leave anything for us? In a sort of romantic way, a roses' life is in a state of fairness. Discussed it with Cheryl but i still think life is fair. Roses are the most beautiful flower there is in the world unless anyone else has a different perspective to it. However thorns make it equally as bad,so when people ask why such a beautiful flower like a rose has thorns?Well its because its fair. Now lets say for example, a guy who loves a girl wishes to express his feelings but has no $$ to buy a stalk in the shop. He decides to pick it up from the wild which still has thorns on it. Doesnt it sound fair to you that he risks his own skin and flesh to take up that flower just to prove his love for someone? As love says it..anything which one sacrifices for the sake of love,is worth pursuing.
Ok i think that fairness is still very subjective, it depends on a persons perspective and i cant agree more on that. For the case of roses, the thorns doesnt really ruin it but it actually protects it as well. But once again it depends on ones mind. Before i really piss people off by saying life is actually fair and its up to us to decide how it goes,i think i shall stop here heh.Well signing off :p!
