Thats what 4e4 is good at,breaking records..but in a bad way unfortunately!Well well well the weeks been really busy and tiring..revising like theres no tomorrow!Well i should be doing that cause O's are less than 3 weeks time!!Other than revising..lets see what else did i remember..oh yeah on tuesday wow really funny. Dnt period, everyone was like pissing mdm pang off,like at 1 pm sharp everyone dropped their pencil followed up by singing off lullaby songs at 1.05 and acting like an Indian at 1.10.So one word to put that lesson-CHAOS!And i became the punching bag in the class i have no idea why,was punched for a continuous 4 periods,breaking my record of 1,which meant that i was jabbed for 1 hour and 20 mins.And now i can just admire the numerous number of bruise on both my arms..LOL!Wednesday was the first time we broke the record for attendance which was 25,and believe me it was rather peaceful.Then on Thursday we broke the record again!Only 22 people came for class.I have to say its pretty cosy having such a small class at least we can learn a bit heh.Then after recess was the killer.E3,4,5 were called to the LT for a talk by mr lak.Waaaayyyy embarassing well in most peolpes cases at least.He showed individual results to the whole group disgracing each one of us in front of the rest.Thank goodness im still above average amongst the group heh so when it was my turn,it was short and sweet :p.Yesterday had lunch with Mark and Co. at Long Johns,really funny!Of course when you eat you have to talk so we first started with MM lee and continued to more and more irrelevent topics until we finally ended up talking about Gay sex!I have no idea how it ended up there but damn i sure laughed a lot!Then went to the airport with Joe and Tarci to send my mom off to Indo so you should know what that means..Im home alone...AGAIN!Yeap well at least i can still be disciplined enough to study and not only play play play lol!And well on the way back Tarci came up with an interesting topic actually.
What do you think of Singapores education system.Well in my opinion,Singapore has been under a KBE system for close to 2 decades or 3 maybe,since the only resource we have is people,making education strict and kept under tight control is actually quite reasonable.Though i do think that the banding system isnt really fair to all students,example would be those who do well in maths and science in sec 2 are eligible to take triple double combi,however that doesnt mean that those who just missed the requirement mark are not able to cope with it.It is quite biased somehow as only the "best" can take it,but maybe even those who werent able to to take the combi can be better.Like how they band people into EM3 or NA or NT,its not because they are stupid,its because they are nurtured wrongly.If a hundred students are in the same class and they give the same amount of determination and commitment,then its quite impossible for them to have 25-30 of it fail.The numbers can even be much less, maybe even 0.Its all about how they are taught and if they are willing to learn.A good example would be my brother,he dropped out of uni cause he was sick of it,but in the end he's studying for his masters now.So if one really want to learn then only he can achieve.Remember that no one is born stupid,everyone is equal.Just the way they are brought up,their background and beliefs change it.So yeah thats my view of education though i think i really went out of point heh.Oh crap i think i just got food poisoning for trying to cook my own food!Ack signing off!:p
